2. Working with Sandra:

What can I expect during my first consultation?
Consultations typically last one (1) hour. During this time, we will learn more about your situation, provide solutions and/or options for your path forward and answer any questions you may have. We will explain our fee structure, retainer requirement, billing process, and how you can work with us in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

How long does it take to resolve my matter?
There is not one answer to this question. Each matter is different and unique with its own set of facts. There are also many factors not within our control that must be considered, i.e. the availability of the courts and/or a mediator or arbitrator and the amount of cooperation each side provides.

3. Payment & Fees:

What are your fees?
Fees are established at the time of the consultation and determined based upon the complexity of the matter. Total fees are not predictable. We do not offer flat rate billing.

Do you offer alternative payment options?
We accept check or credit credit payment. Credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee.

4. Client Expectations:

What documents should I bring to our first meeting?
This may depend on why you are coming to see Fava Law, LLC. Generally, having access to your most recent income tax returns and current salary information is helpful. If you have prior Court Orders, Agreements or a Judgment of Divorce, please have that with you. If you have an “evidence” that you believe is helpful, please bring that along as well.

How will you communicate with me during my case?
Communication is key to the attorney-client relationship. We strive to respond to all emails within 24-48 hours. You can also contact the office during normal business hours at (973) 532-2200.
